Accessibility

Practical access, continuous improvement.

What is available today, what remains under review, and how to report a barrier.

Current features

A2C3 programs support keyboard, pointer, and touch interaction on compatible devices. Features under active testing include visible focus, adjustable text, narration, audio controls, and reduced motion.

Features vary by program

  • Knowledge Challenge: keyboard interaction and guided narration controls; review the program’s current device and orientation behavior.
  • Home Safety Survey: text-based questions, keyboard navigation, and responsive phone, tablet, and desktop layouts.
  • Scenario and PASS activities: keyboard, pointer, or touch support where implemented; audio, text, and motion controls vary by activity. PASS currently works best in landscape.
  • Department branding: saved text colors are checked against contrast requirements. This is one part of accessibility, not a platform-wide conformance finding.

Combined program usage measures can include accessibility-setting use, where recorded, to inform improvements. These measures do not identify an individual’s disability. See the Privacy policy for collection and retention details.

Testing and current limitation

A2C3 uses a repeatable internal review protocol covering automated checks, keyboard operation, screen-reader use, contrast, 200% zoom and responsive reflow. A2C3 is establishing a release-based process for recording test scope, results, evidence notes, and remediation status. A2C3 plans to commission an independent WCAG 2.1 Level AA evaluation before any paid production deployment and before its planned Q1 2027 launch. A2C3 does not represent the entire platform as independently audited or certified to WCAG 2.1 AA or WCAG 2.2 AA.

Known areas under review

The Quiz and Home Safety Survey support phones, tablets, and desktops in portrait or landscape. PASS currently works best in landscape. Zoom, screen readers, narration, and department branding combinations remain active review areas. Success on one device or input method does not establish platform-wide conformance.

Department deployments

Branding, local content, website placement, and device policies can affect accessibility. Each department release should receive its own review.

Report a barrier

If something prevents you from using an A2C3 page or program, please describe the page, device, browser, assistive technology, and the task you were trying to complete through the Contact page. A2C3 will review the report and provide an alternative when reasonably available.
